Florence I-Dome
The city of Florence has amazed and bewildered over 130,000 international visitors that have passed - in the 6 months of EXPO 2015 - through the Courtyard of Customs in Palazzo Vecchio with its Florence I-Dome, a spectacular installation in which - through video-mapping techniques and immersive 360° viewing - the story of know-how of the city is displayed, its excellence and emblematic places, seen from a new, exciting perspective.
The I-Dome, a project of the Florence Chamber of Commerce realized by PromoFirenze, born of an idea by Alessandro Grassi - artistic director of the project #Expo2015Firenze - was inaugurated on May 1 by the mayor of Florence, Dario Nardella, and by the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Florence, Leonardo Bassilichi.
