It all began with the encounter between Guido Berlucchi, a recognized wine producer in the area, and the young enologist Franco Ziliani: it was then that the idea of taking on the production of a classical method sparkling wine in the Brescia province of Italy was born. With the grape harvest of 1961 and the first production of 3000 bottles, the Franciacorta we all know today was born.
Berlucchi sparkling wines speak of great value and quality, portraying most of all a territory, born from vineyards farmed in a totaly ecologically sustainable way.
